Yesterday, February 20, current Mansfield Fellow Heather Ward, an International Cooperation Specialist at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), spoke at a public event in Tokyo hosted by the Mansfield Foundation and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS). Her seminar addressed USAID’s “Journey to Self-Reliance” initiative and provided an overview of USAID’s mission, organization, and development policy priorities.
