24th Class of Mansfield Fellows Gather in Washington, D.C.
February 28, 2019
The twenty-fourth class of Mansfield Fellows are in Washington, DC this week for discussions and orientation sessions ahead of the start of their program in July.
The incoming Fellows met with Foundation staff from the Washington, Missoula, and Tokyo offices, as well as representatives from Japan’s National Personnel Authority (NPA). The Mansfield Foundation and NPA worked with the Fellows to plan their schedule of placements with Japanese government agencies in 2019-20.
On February 27, the Fellows were introduced to members of the DC community at a reception held in the Mansfield Room of the U.S. Capitol. The event was made possible with support from the Embassy of Japan.
