Alumni Fellow Mike Marcus recently became the first member of the Wi-Fi NOW Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the Wi-Fi industry. Wi-Fi NOW notes that his accomplishments include having “laid the groundwork for rules for bands that would become the operating bands of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.” Dr. Marcus participated in the Mike Mansfield Fellowship Program as a representative of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission from 1997-1999.
