Mansfield Alumni Fellow Hosts Delegation from Japan’s Office of National Space Policy

U.S.-Japan Space Forum News. Michael Fletcher, MFP Class 21 and U.S.-Japan Space Forum participant, recently hosted a delegation from Japan’s office of National Space Policy for a visit to NASA’s Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California.
Mr. Fletcher met with representatives including Minister of State for Space Policy Masaji Matsuyama, Shuzo Takada, Director General of the Cabinet Office, National Space Policy Directorate, and other government officials to discuss current and potential areas of U.S.-Japan cooperation on space exploration and science. While at Ames, the delegation met with Ames’ senior leaders, toured the Ames Center and met with a space start-up company.
