Mansfield Alumni Fellow Reconnects with GOJ Colleagues, Mansfield Foundation Staff in Tokyo

Dawn Kawasaki (MFP Class 12) and her family visited Japan this month, ten years after her experience with the Mansfield Fellowship Program. Ms. Kawasaki, who works in the Department of Commerce, was in Tokyo for a training session for civil servants hosted by the National Personnel Authority, the Mansfield Foundation’s partner in placing Fellows in Japanese government agencies. She met with government officials, private sector representatives, a former colleague from her time with the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, former Mansfield staff, and Director of the Mansfield Foundation’s Tokyo office, Teruyo Kuramoto.
