Twenty-Fourth Class of Mansfield Fellows Begin Language Program in Kanazawa

Nine Mansfield Fellows from the 24th class prepare to depart for their seven-week stay in Ishikawa Prefecture
This week, nine federal employees from the twenty-fourth class of Mansfield Fellows arrived in Ishikawa Prefecture for the first portion of their Fellowship year in Japan.
The Fellows are beginning a seven-week intensive language study program, and will be staying with host families in the prefectural capital, Kanazawa.
During their first week in Kanazawa, the Fellows got to know their host families and paid a courtesy visit to Ishikawa governor Masanori Tanimoto.
