Mansfield Fellows Meet with University Students in Ishikawa
August 16, 2018
The twenty-third class of Mansfield Fellows are finishing their seven-week Japanese language immersion in Ishikawa prefecture. At the end of this month, the Fellows will return to Tokyo for orientation to begin their ten months of placements. As part of their program in Ishikawa, the Fellows had a chance to meet with Princeton University students studying abroad in Japan. The students, learning Japanese at IFIE for the summer, had an opportunity to hear from each Fellow about the current U.S. political structure, future career aspirations, and future opportunities to apply for the Mike Mansfield Fellowship.
