MFP No. 23 Fellowship Year Draws to a Close
June 27, 2019

Ian Morrison (MFP 23) poses for Japan Weather Association’s tenki.jp
Mansfield Fellow Ian Morrison spoke with tenki.jp, the website of the Japan Weather Association, about what he’s learned during his Fellowship experience in Japan and how climate and disaster preparation differ between Japan and Hawaii, where he works for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
As part of the twenty-third class of Mansfield Fellows, Ian will be returning home to the United States at the end of the month, where he and other Fellows will be able to share the experience, knowledge, and connections made throughout their placements in Japan.
As the twenty-third class departs, we are excited to immediately welcome our twenty-fourth class to Japan as they embark on their year-long Fellowship.
The Mansfield Foundation wishes all nine members of the MFP 23 class well on their continued careers in U.S. government, and we are proud to have them join our 150 other Alumni Fellows starting on July 1!
